Dr. Lynd runs a small private practice and hours vary; however, she generally sees patients on weekdays between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
Do you see patients virtually?
Dr. Lynd offers both in-person and virtual appointments. She prefers conducting initial evaluations in-person, but can arrange for fully virtual care on a case-by-case basis. Patients must be located in New York State during their appointment.
What ages do you treat?
Dr. Lynd treats patients ranging from 5 years old to 64 years old, including children, teenagers, and adults.
How do I know if I’m a good fit for your practice?
Due to the limited hours and resources of Dr. Lynd’s practice, not all prospective patients can be adequately served in her practice. Please schedule a free phone screening to see if Dr. Lynd’s practice would be a good fit for you. Dr. Lynd only sees patients who reside in New York State. If Dr. Lynd’s practice isn’t a good fit for you, she can provide information about clinics that might better serve your needs.
What health insurance plans do you accept?
Dr. Lynd accepts Excellus BlueCross BlueShield and Aetna. Patients with other insurance plans are responsible for paying the full out of pocket cost for services; rates range from $200-600 per appointment. For patients who are out-of-network, Dr. Lynd can provide a claims statement for you to submit to your insurance carrier for partial reimbursement of services. Due to insurance regulations that hinder reimbursement, she cannot accept patients with Medicare or Medicaid coverage.
What type of payment do you accept?
Dr. Lynd accepts credit/debit card payments through the Charm patient portal and personal checks. Payment is due on the day of service.
Do you offer family therapy or couples therapy?
Although Dr. Lynd does not offer comprehensive family or couples therapy, she believes involving family members in treatment is essential and will ask family members to join sessions when appropriate. Parents/guardians are required to be present for their child or teenagers’ appointments.
